The
Multiprofessional Brazilian Association for Proteccion of Childhood
and Adolescence, (ABRAPIA) and Petrobras, the most important oil
company of Brazil, are implementing in Rio de Janeiro, a pioneer
project to prevent and control school bullying. Bullying is not
a new phenomenon but it is increasing in number and severity in
all countries around the world.
Low self-esteem, insecurity, depression, suicide trials and real
suicide could be consequences of school bullying.
May be you had suffer bullying when you were in school. May be you
are still suffering its consequences. May be you are a victim of
work place bullying. And now, do you know what bullying is yet?
In France they call harcèlement quotidien, in Italy prepotenza
or bullismo, in Japan ijime, in Germany Agressionen unter Schülern
and in Portugal maus-tratos entre pares. In Brazil we will spreading
the phenomenon of continuous aggression among pupils with the word
used in english language: bullying.
